Women who stood their ground in 2019 elections!
Since decades India’s surreal support for women is strong in INDIA. Politics is no easy ground to stand against and for the governments despite the threats and treats!

Indira Gandhi!

Change is inevitable. Ever since Indira Gandhi took the reins into her hand and charged ahead with her immense courageous decision during the war against Bangladesh was unparalleled.

In 1971, the revolutionary revolt of the fellow standing politicians was severe towards the then Prime Minister of India, Mrs Indira Gandhi. Apart from withstanding the opposition from the government bodies, she took the responsibility of the lives at stake and waged the war.

As the revolt sparked the irrational behavior, it led to the outbreak of a revolt, she declared the state of Emergency under the circumstance of utter chaos.
Eight months before the revolt she won the general elections in march and stood victorious with a valiant speech that expressed deep gratitude.

As the history and the sources from then claim that she was assassinated at her residence by her own bodyguards, who belonged to Operations Blue Star. Post which, her heir, Rajiv Gandhi ruled good one term as the Prime Minister of India.

Her journey for fourteen years as Chief Minister in Tamil Nadu had the most revered queen-ship to be precise. Her dedication and sincerity stood with absolute loyalty for the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), a Dravidian party whose cadre revered her as their Amma (mother).

       Her Film Career
As a student, she excelled in her schooling and was offered a government scholarship to pursue further         education. As a multi lingual person she had the most ardent interest in dance and she further pursued  Bharatanatyam, Kuchupudi.
She gave performances before the legendary actors such as Sivaji Ganesan, the chief guest at her Arengatrum     expressed to her that he would like to see her as a heroine in her future.
The heroes of her films never objected to the title of the film being conferred on the female lead played by Jayalalithaa.

The political career had tremendous victories with all the outstanding decisions she took during her political run. Channelling the finances with innate loyalty and spending them to the poor strata of the Tamil Nadu citizens.

Sarojini Naidu!

The former governor of the united provinces, the nightingale of India, a social activist and a poet who earned the above sobriquet. Being a part of the Indian Nationalist moment, fought for the attainment of the “Swaraj” or the independence, she is a true leader.

From the independence India, she was the first woman governor of the Republic of India. Graduating from Cambridge, she had not expected the unfolding life events that could bring out the strength in her.
Not just on the stands of power, but was a sole ambassador of the Hindu-Muslim unity.

The president and the Governor!

Being the President of the Congress party, she was honoured with the Kaiser-I-hind medal for her work during the plague-epidemic.
