Samsung has launched its new phone Galaxy M30 yesterday. Unlike the M10 and M20 launch, Samsung did not hold a special event for the introduction of its new M30. The phone was launched on Amazon, YouTube and its website via a live stream.
Galaxy M30 will be available exclusively via Amazon India. The new phone has been designed by targeting the millennials who are the alpha users of technology and mobile in India. Samsung boasts that their new phone meets all the demands put up by youngsters and they need not look beyond M30.
Samsung India is hoping to make waves in the Indian mobile market with its new product. After all, M series was the most searched keyword in Amazon last year. The beautifully packed phone comes with a charger, charging cable and SIM ejector. It is available in two colors – gradation black and gradation blue.
The phone is priced at INR 14990 and check all the boxes in its price bracket. The new Samsung M30 is all about power. According to the company, the new phone comes with a powerful display + processor + battery + camera. Let’s take a look at the specifications.
In terms of design, Galaxy M30 features a waterdrop-styled notch with an edge-to-edge display. The fingerprint sensor and rear cameras are also placed the same way.
The phone has a stunning Super AMOLED 6.4-inch Full HD+ Infinity U display. No doubt, the phone will provide a great movie viewing experience. The Samsung Galaxy M30 features Widewine L1 certification, which means that users can stream HD content from services like Netflix.
The phone supports heavy content consumption with a 5000 mAh battery. The phone has a Type C USB port and charges 3X faster than its predecessors. The battery is capable of enabling 25 hours of non-stop video viewing.
The phone has a triple rear camera. According to Samsung, the M30 provides the most complete camera offering among its competitors. The shots taken by the M30 has a great portrait depth. The ultra-wide pictures are ideal for group shots and capturing an epic landscape.
Primary camera comes with a 13MP shooter with an F1.9 lens that provides larger light gathering capacity and more background blur. The Second camera is of 5MP and is equipped for better depth sensing. The third camera, also 5MP, has an ultra-wide lens which captures a 123° view. The front camera is 16 MP.
RAM + Storage
There are two RAM variants – 4 GB and 6 GB. The 4 GB RAM variant comes with an internal memory of 64 GB and the 6 GB RAM variant comes with a 128 GB internal memory. The phone also has an expandable memory of up to 512 GB.
The processor of Samsung M30 is Octa-core (1.8 GHz, Dual core, Cortex A73 + 1.6 GHz, Hexa Core, Cortex A53) and the chipset is Samsung Exynos 7 Octa 7904.
The Galaxy M30 will ship with Samsung Experience v9.5 based on Android 8.1 Oreo, but Samsung has promised to release an Android Pie update soon.
